Marder Entertainment, LLC is a privately-owned company that focuses on management, booking, and development of live talent and musical artists. The company works to serve clients in the entertainment industry, such as food and beverage providers, resort and hospitality providers, as well as private clients that are looking to book weddings, corporate events, or special occasions. We assist clients in turning event dreams into a reality, by customizing and scaling live events and performances to meet the needs of any venue size or configuration. Whether you are looking to book live entertainment for an intimate setting or a large outdoor space, we strategically coordinate all aspects of live performances, to bring you a streamlined production from start to finish. Through our longstanding relationships with talent and local venues, we work to not only maintain and bolster existing relationships with venues, but also expand into various markets across the United States.
The company was originally formed by David Marder, who grew up as a professional musician and drummer in the Orlando, FL area. He has performed for more than 20 years at notable venues such as House of Blues, B.B. King’s Blues Club, Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center, Abbey Theater, Plaza Theater, as well as various other clubs and music festivals. Marder has appeared with musical acts such as the Gerry Williams Band, O’ Town Motown, Kevin Maines Band, Teague Stefan, Keith Eaton, Shaun Rounds Blues Band, and many other local artists and songwriters.
In addition to live performances, he has performed on studio recordings and also taught drums at a local music school. While completing a Master of Music Business and Entertainment Industries from the University of Miami, he was selected for the Grammy U Mentorship Program by the Recording Academy's Florida Chapter. Marder went on to work in music management in New York City, while also working alongside attorneys in a top-ranked "Am Law 200 " national entertainment, media and technology legal practice, to develop new business opportunities and engagement efforts throughout the community. In New York City, Marder was selected as a Music Ambassador for Carnegie Hall and also attended Columbia Business School's Executive Education, where he received a certificate in Digital Marketing Strategy.
He received a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising/Public Relations with a Minor in Music from the University of Central Florida. Having developed a strong passion for music and entertainment through his performance experience, Marder now works to be an advocate for emerging and well-established artists, in order to facilitate new opportunities and inspire others through live performance. Outside of his experience in the entertainment industry, Marder has served on advisory committees for large national banks, non-profit organizations, and previously served as a member of the Young Professional Advisory Council of Central Florida, as well as Leadership Orlando (Class 87). In his spare time, Marder is a marathon runner, which helps fuel his resilient mindset and the ability to always go the extra mile for his clients.
